You'll be part of a team that keeps production running smoothly, ensures every product meets strict quality standards, and helps drive continuous improvement across the manufacturing floor. This is a 1099 independent contractor role with the right to hire , offering a strong pathway into a long‑term career for the right candidate. A Day in the Life You'll make an impact every single day by: Inspecting incoming, in‑process, and finished electronic assemblies (SMT & through‑hole). Performing final inspections to confirm compliance with customer requirements and sales orders. Using microscopes, magnifiers, and measurement tools to inspect PCB assemblies. Evaluating solder joints, polarity, labeling, and workmanship per IPC‑A‑610 Class 2/3 . Reviewing work orders, BOMs, drawings, and specs for accuracy. Documenting inspection results clearly in company quality systems. Verifying rework/repairs meet IPC standards. Supporting incoming inspection of electronic components. Maintaining a clean, organized, ESD‑safe work environment. What Helps You Thrive Here High School Diploma 2-5 years in electronics assembly or inspection IPC‑A‑610 Certification Strong understanding of SMT, through‑hole, and mixed‑tech assembly Ability to read/interpret drawings, schematics, and work instructions Familiarity with ESD procedures Experience documenting findings in quality systems Background with ISO 9001 or similar QMS Manufacturing experience in aerospace, defense, medical, or industrial electronics Comfortable using Microsoft Office and productivity applications
Pay:
$20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
