Our Position:
We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Investigator to conduct the investigation of allegations of abuse/neglect and other reportable incidents as prescribed in OPWDD Part 624 regulations.
This position also involves:
Assumes primary responsibility for the investigation of allegations of abuse/neglect and other reportable incidents. Conducts thorough interviews, gather evidence, write detailed reports to improve care quality. Write comprehensive investigative reports, present findings to the Incident Review Committee, and document findings in IRMA (Incident Reporting Management Application) and WSIR (Web Submission of Investigation Report) Ability to work in fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks while meeting required deadlines Recommend policy/procedural changes with respect to issues that are raised during investigations. Rotating 24/7 on call to include evenings and weekends.
Our Rate of Pay:
$ 26.00- $30.00 per hour
Our Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services or related field PLUS two years' experience in human services. OR Associate degree in a Human Services related field PLUS four years' experience in human services. OR High School Diploma or equivalent diploma PLUS six years' experience in human services. Plus Successful completion of the required Justice Center Investigator training course with a passing grade within three months of hire. A valid NYS driver's license, approved driving record, and access to a vehicle are required
