Quality Control Technician Location:
Albany, OH Pay:
$23.00 per hour |
Full-Time Schedule:
Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-4:30 PM We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to join a growing manufacturing team in Albany, Ohio. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in manufacturing, quality, laboratory, food, pharmaceutical, medical device, veterinary, healthcare, or another regulated environment. In this role, you will support product quality and compliance by performing inspections, environmental monitoring, sampling, batch record review, and in-process quality checks. What You'll Do Perform environmental monitoring, including air, surface, and personnel sampling Monitor manufacturing, storage, material, and product conditions Prepare and ship environmental and product samples to outside laboratories Perform incoming material, component, packaging, and labeling inspections Conduct in-process and finished product inspections Review batch production records throughout manufacturing and packaging operations Verify calculations, material identification, equipment status, line clearance, and production documentation Review records for completeness, accuracy, legibility, and compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP) Identify and escalate quality concerns and environmental abnormalities Maintain retain sample inventories and quality records Assist with investigations, quality events, and environmental monitoring excursions Generate routine quality data and support trend analysis Participate in audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives What We're Looking For High School Diploma or GED required At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing, laboratory, quality, food, pharmaceutical, veterinary, medical device, healthcare, or another regulated environment preferred Strong attention to detail and ability to identify quality concerns Ability to follow written procedures and established processes Good Documentation Practices (GDP) experience or knowledge preferred Basic math and calculation skills Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills Strong communication skills Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment Preferred Experience Environmental monitoring Quality control or quality inspection Batch record review Pharmaceutical, medical device, veterinary, or food manufacturing What We Offer $23.00 per hour Health and dental benefits Flexible Spending Accounts 401(k) with company contribution Company-paid life and disability insurance Voluntary insurance options Generous paid time off that increases with tenure Tuition reimbursement Opportunities for career growth and advancement If you have a strong eye for detail and enjoy ensuring products meet high quality standards, we encourage you to apply!
