Who we are looking for We are looking for a Secondary Operator. This is a general labor position actively engaged in performing deburring, drilling, tapping, threading, or other secondary operations as required What you will get to do Rapidly, precisely, safely, and accurately perform deburring, flat sanding, removing micro joints, or other secondary operations as required. Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and technical specifications to determine required secondary operations. Maintain proper tools and replace as needed to meet specifications. Record operational or production data. Load and unload items from both mobile and stationary carts, crates and palettes. Place products in equipment or on work surfaces for further processing, inspecting, or wrapping. Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards. Remove products or workpieces from secondary work environment to the next operation. What you bring to the team EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma, GED or the equivalent is required
LANGUAGE SKILLS
This position requires the ability to understand and communicate basic English as defined by English equivalent to satisfactory grammar school level (6 th grade English) in order to accurately comprehend and express legally required communications. (Ex. US Department of Labor (DOL) safety information (MSDS), US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) production record keeping, raw materials safe handling instructions, customer and shipping destination product labels, etc.)
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Basic counting and math skills.
OTHER SKILLS/ABILITIES
Be able to work well under the pressure of production deadlines, work cooperatively with others and be dependable & timely in one's work. Ability to follow directions correctly and efficiently perform tasks and a willingness to work with a team.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Near Vision — the ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
