You follow established test protocols, capture precise measurements, and compare results against engineering specs and blueprints. When a reading looks off, you partner with teammates to troubleshoot, using your analytical eye to pinpoint and resolve the issue. Before you wrap up, you document findings, keep the workspace orderly, and ensure the lab is inspection-ready. What You'll Tackle Execute laboratory tests and inspections in accordance with defined procedures and protocols. Collaborate with peers to diagnose and resolve technical issues impacting product quality. Read and interpret documents including blueprints, engineering specifications, and related quality documentation. Maintain a clean, organized lab and follow best practices for safety and housekeeping. Your Toolkit Hands-on experience with inspection tools: Calipers, Depth Micrometer, Optical Comparator, Dial Indicator, Snap gages, and Rockwell Hardness Tester. Ability to read blueprints and understand engineering specifications. Meticulous attention to detail with strong analytical thinking. Comfort working both independently and collaboratively. Competent computer skills for data entry and reporting. Preferred Proficiencies Quality Inspection Experience Quality Control Experience Precision Measurement & Inspection Machines & Technologies You'll Use Hardness Tester Measurement Gauges Calipers and Micrometers Where You'll Work
