Essential Responsibilities/Duties Conducts in-process visual and physical properties testing to determine product conformance (in spec) Identifies "out-of-spec" material as defined in the ISO/TS system. Communicated discrepancies initiating appropriate inter-departmental corrective action forms Operates testing equipment by following operating instructions as required Responsible for the preparation and spray application of testing panels. Collects data from subordinates Ensures that QC equipment calibrations, verification and maintenance meets ISO/TS requirements. Conducts sample tests as specified by customer. Communicates discrepancies to team leader, QC supervisor or QC Manager Utilize prudent practices and appropriate safety, health, and environmental procedures as required Relieves other technicians as needed Operates simple laboratory testing equipment Ability to work independently Qualifications High School Diploma Experience 6 months of experience in manufacturing or in lab setting.
