Job Description
Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Control Inspector to join our manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will ensure that all products meet rigorous quality standards by conducting thorough inspections, measurements, and audits throughout the production process. Your expertise will help maintain compliance with industry regulations and uphold our commitment to delivering exceptional quality to our customers. Responsibilities 1. Monitor production lines, looking for product flaws or damage; such as, proper roll size, good glue line, core integrity and cleanliness of product. 2. Prep parent rolls before roll change; cut plastic and cardboard off, fix cores if needed and put in core chucks and pins. 3. Help keep cores loaded in core hopper. 4. Create boxes for reject rolls that didn't meet quality standards. 5. Fill boxes with rejected rolls and make sure they are properly labeled and stack on a skid. 6. Remove and replace bins for end cuts and flat waste. 7. Communicate with machine operators and supervisors when issues arise. 8. Fill out production quality reports listing any issues with the machine or product. 9. Perform routine inspections and quality checks throughout the production process. 10. Verify Product specifications, dimensions, weight, labeling, and packaging requirements. 11. Identify, segregate, and properly document non-conforming product. 12. Communicate quality concerns to Machine Operators, Supervisors and Management in a timely manner. 13. Conduct and document quality audits as required. 14. Maintain accurate quality records, inspection reports, and production documentation. 15. Assist in investigating product defects and identifying root causes of quality issues. 16. Verify corrective actions have been implemented when quality concerns are identified. 17. Ensure quality standards, work instructions, and customer specifications are followed. 18. Assist with inventory and disposition of rejected or hold products. 19. Help with repack projects as needed. 20.Help keep work areas clean and sweep out and around machines and all other work areas. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Semi-skilled position requiring strong attention to detail and quality standards. Ability to identify product defects and non-conforming materials. Ability to read, complete, and maintain accurate quality and production documentation. Basic math and measurement skills. Pay:
