Job Description
Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Quality Inspector to join a growing precision manufacturing and engineering company in Fairfield, OH. Schedule is Monday-Friday, 7am

- 3:30pm.
- Perform receiving, in-process, first article, and final inspections of mechanical and electrical assemblies.
- Inspect large fabricated, machined, welded, and assembled components to verify conformance to drawings and specifications.
- Use precision measurement equipment and FARO Arm technology to perform dimensional inspections.
- Review mechanical drawings, technical documentation, and basic electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Verify component installation, workmanship, dimensions, tolerances, and overall product quality.
- Document inspection results, nonconformances, and quality records.
- Support FAI activities, MRB processes, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure inspection equipment remains calibrated and compliant with quality requirements.
- Work closely with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to resolve inspection and quality issues.

https://insightglobal.com/workforce-privacy-policy/. Skills and Requirements- 2+ years of mechanical quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment (AS9100 or
ISO 9001
)- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Experience using precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, indicators, etc.)
- Experience with portable CMM equipment, preferably FARO Arm (training available)
- Basic understanding of electrical assemblies, wiring diagrams, and electrical components
- Gas turbine, power generation, or rotating equipment experience
- Experience with FARO Arm inspection and dimensional verification preferred
- NDT experience (PT, UT, FPI, etc.
