View More Jobs Quality Receiving Inspection Franklin Furnace, OH, United States Job Description Franklin Furnace 6a-6p M-F Position will perform receiving inspection activities on incoming materials, components, and products to ensure compliance with engineering specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements. The position will be responsible for verifying conformance to all specified requirements through visual, dimensional, and functional inspections. Duties include, but are not limited to, inspecting incoming materials and components, reviewing engineering drawings and specifications, documenting inspection results, identifying and segregating non-conforming material, and communicating quality concerns to appropriate departments. Position must assess product evaluation against established quality standards and procedures. Review receiving documentation, verify material certifications, ensure product quality, work with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to resolve issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Other responsibilities as assigned. Uses basic hand tools such as ratchets, wrenches, air tools, pliers, wire strippers, torque tools, crimping tools. Uses precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, tape measures, thread gauges, and other inspection equipment. Uses multi-meters. Uses computer systems for data entry, inspection documentation, and quality record maintenance. Reads and interprets engineering drawings, specifications, work instructions, and quality standards.
