1st Shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)

Pay Rate:

$24.00 - $30.00 / hour (based on experience) Job Description and requirements ? The Quality Inspector will be responsible to perform first piece, in-process, and final inspections within all manufacturing areas to ensure products comply with quality standards and customer specifications. ? Must be able to read and understand drawings and use that ability in determining if a part being inspected passes or fails. ? Ability to use standard measurement devices (ID/OD micrometers, pin gauges, dial & digital calipers, depth micrometers) ? Be proficient at Basic Math (Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication and Division) ? Documents inspection results by completing inspection reports/forms. ? Dependable individual with reliable transportation. ? Excellent attendance record. ? Must have strong verbal and written communication skills. ? Excellent time management, computer & organizational skills. ? Must be able to perform required inspections. ? Provide guidance and help with part inspection when operators need it ? Assist Quality Manager ? Knowledge of Mainstream QMS and how you contribute to it. ? FOD Awareness Prevention ? Counterfeit Parts Awareness ? Other duties as assigned by management. Entry level qualifications ? High School Diploma ? 1 to 3 years of experience in quality inspections ? Ability to read and understand part drawings. ? Experience using a variety of inspection tools (calipers, micrometer, gauges and more) ? Excellent communication and teamwork skills ? Excellent shop math competency and the ability to quickly learn new processes, procedures, and machines/gauges. ? Exceptional attention to detail with respect to quality of work (parts and paperwork) Preferred qualifications ? Combination of two/four-year college education in manufacturing quality related field ? Proficient in Microsoft Programs ? Knowledge of internet operations ? Prior experience with Hexagon

CMM, PC-DMIS

software or FARO inspection equipment ? Experience in a machine shop as an inspector and in other capacities is a plus Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $24.00 - $30.00
