2nd Shift, 4:30 PM-1:00 AM Job Summary MS Companies is seeking a hands-on Quality Team Lead to support quality inspection operations in a manufacturing environment. This person will work alongside the inspection team, coordinate daily assignments, assist with training, monitor quality results, and serve as a point of contact for employees and the customer during the shift. Required Skills & Qualifications 2-3 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing or light industrial environment Quality inspection, containment, sorting, rework, or production experience Ability to understand work instructions, inspection criteria, safety procedures, and customer requirements Experience training, coaching, and supporting employees Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Experience with quality systems, reporting tools, and process improvement Basic computer and data-entry skills Authorized to work in the United States Preferred Skills & Qualifications Automotive manufacturing experience Experience assigning work and coordinating shift activities Experience completing production, quality, attendance, or timekeeping records Familiarity with Salesforce or a similar digital reporting system Customer-facing experience in a manufacturing environment Day-to-Day Responsibilities Work alongside quality inspectors and lead by example Organize daily assignments and communicate team priorities Review work instructions and confirm inspections are completed correctly Train employees, answer process questions, and provide coaching Monitor inspection results and communicate quality concerns or trends Perform inspections, sorting, containment, or rework when needed Maintain accurate time, attendance, production, and quality records Document and escalate attendance, performance, safety, or behavioral concerns Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Communicate with customer contacts to support service expectations Physical and Environment Requirements Ability to visually identify defects in the color, shape, size, or texture of parts Ability to hear and recognize sounds in a manufacturing environment Ability to stand, walk, or sit on concrete floors for up to 10-12 hours Ability to use stairs and perform reaching, bending, stooping, crouching, kneeling, and repetitive movements Ability to complete fine-motor tasks requiring hand-eye coordination Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 30 lbs.
