Job Description

Overview We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Quality Inspector to join our manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will ensure that all products meet stringent quality standards and regulatory requirements, contributing to the delivery of safe, reliable, and high-quality goods. Your keen eye for detail, mechanical aptitude, and commitment to excellence will drive continuous improvement in our quality assurance processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of quality control, supporting manufacturing excellence across all stages of production. Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products using precision measuring instruments such as height gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and vision inspection systems. Interpret mechanical blueprints and production documents to verify dimensional accuracy and adherence to specifications. Perform quality audits in accordance with
ISO 9001, ISO 13485, GMP
(Good Manufacturing Practices), and FDA regulations to ensure compliance with industry standards. Utilize GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) principles for precise measurement and analysis of parts and assemblies. Collect data during inspections, document findings accurately, and report non-conformances for corrective action. Support calibration activities for measuring instruments and ensure calibration records are maintained per regulatory standards. Participate in root cause analysis for quality issues and collaborate with manufacturing teams to implement process improvements. Requirements Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance within a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of quality systems such as QA/QC protocols. Proficiency with measurement instruments including height gauges, dial indicators, calipers, GMMs (Coordinate Measuring Machines), and vision inspection systems. Knowledge of ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 13485), GMP, HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), and FDA regulations relevant to manufacturing industries. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and production documents accurately. Strong analysis skills with attention to detail; capable of performing dimensional measurements and analyzing data effectively. Familiarity with regulatory/legal compliance standards in production environments. Basic math skills for measurements calculations and data interpretation. Excellent communication skills for reporting findings clearly and collaborating across teams.
