A Quality Inspector inspects and evaluates products according to company quality control standards. Inspects goods or packaging in a production or manufacturing facility.
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Manager to join our team at Hydro Tube Enterprises. This role is responsible for ensuring that production parts and processes meet customer specifications through inspections, audits, and quality improvement initiatives. The position will play a key role in maintaining compliance with

standards, leading internal audits, and collaborating with team to resolve quality issues. This role combines hands-on inspection responsibilities with strategic quality management tasks to support continuous improvement efforts. Responsibilities & Duties Perform in-process and final inspections of tube assemblies. Measure and inspect production parts to ensure conformance to customer specifications. Issue non-conformances for internal quality issues and customer returns. Submit PPAPs (Production Part Approval Process), including material certifications, control plans, and FMEAs. Conduct First Article Inspections (FAIs) and issue Corrective Action Reports (CARs) as needed. Oversee and maintain the Quality Management System. Maintain compliance documentation (Material Test Reports, RoHS, Code of Conduct, REACH). Track and report On-Time Delivery and Quality (PPM) metrics. Plan, develop, and execute internal audits to ensure

compliance. Manage gage calibration and ensure proper metrology practices. Train new employees on quality processes and procedures. Assist in receiving inspection when needed. Interact with customers and suppliers to resolve quality issues. Generalized process and manufacturing knowledge, with the ability to understand how different shop processes affect product quality. Experience with inspection equipment, including FARO Arm, CMM, micrometers, calipers, tape measures. All other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Experience Requires at least 2 years of experience in a quality management role in a manufacturing facility.

Auditor Certification preferred. BS/BA in Business or Engineering preferred. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and their impact on product quality. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Effective communication and leadership skills. Work Environment & Physical Requirements Manufacturing setting with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures. May require standing for extended periods. May require the ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.
