Operations Manager About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Manufacturing Quality Inspector to join our team. The Quality Inspector will be responsible for inspecting incoming materials, work-in-process, and finished products to ensure they meet company standards, customer specifications, and applicable quality requirements. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Inspect raw materials, components, and finished products for quality and conformance. Perform dimensional and visual inspections using precision measuring equipment. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and work instructions. Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records. Identify, document, and communicate defects or nonconformances. Assist with root-cause investigations and corrective actions. Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections. Verify products meet customer and internal quality requirements. Work closely with Production, Engineering, and Quality personnel to resolve quality issues. Support calibration and proper use of inspection equipment. Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe inspection area. Follow all company quality procedures. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous manufacturing or quality inspection experience preferred. Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications. Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection equipment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good written and verbal communication skills. Basic computer skills and ability to complete inspection documentation. Ability to work independently while also being an effective team member. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift as required in a manufacturing environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience with GD&T. Experience with CMM or other advanced inspection equipment. Experience with ISO 9001 or similar quality systems. Experience with ERP/MRP or quality management systems.
