The purpose of this position is to ensure that products being manufactured meet the Engineering Specifications and Customer Requirements/Expectations. specifically with our automotve customers.
- The Quality Assurance Technician is expected to work with Manufacturing, and Engineering to assure that the appropriate quality tools are provided and are being properly utilized at each work center.
- The Quality Assurance Technician must be able to monitor, on a daily basis, various Customer Websites, and report any information, complaints, or news concerning Flambeau Inc.
- The Quality Assurance Technician must be able to schedule, coordinate, and follow-up on Customer Complaint meetings and CAR analysis teams, including progress reports.
- The Quality Assurance Technician must understand, and be able to properly communicate Quality Expectations and Concerns to all Manufacturing Associates in a friendly, courteous, cooperative, and professional manner.
- The Quality Technician uses basic quality concepts and tools in ensuring conformance to established requirements for safety and quality. The Quality Technician interfaces with all other departments within the organization on quality-related issues and can act as quality trainer as required.
- The Quality Technician acts as the site Document Control Coordinator. Responsible for updating and creating new procedures and work instructions.
- The Quality Assurance Technician is expected to perform their duties in a safe manner and report any safety concerns to the Quality Manager or Operations Manager.
- All work areas should be maintained in a clean and efficient manner.
- The Quality Assurance Technician may periodically work in other work assignments, other shifts, and work overtime and/or weekends to assist with coverage and unusual circumstances.
- The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for maintaining the requirements of the Quality Management System as identified in the Flambeau Inc., Sharon Center, OH Quality Manual and supporting documentation, or as assigned by the Quality Manager.
