The Quality Team Lead responsibilities include training and supporting QA inspectors, overseeing inspection activities, assigning work priorities, monitoring product quality, maintaining accurate quality records, and ensuring compliance with quality standards and process controls. This role serves as a key resource for the quality team, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, addressing quality concerns, and providing leadership and guidance within the production environment. Pay Range:

$19.50

•$19.50 per hour

Shift:
Second Shift:

Monday to Friday, 5:00 PM

•1:30 AM, overtime when needed

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

•Train QA inspectors on quality standards, inspection methods, and quality-related issues.

•Monitor inspector performance and assign tasks based on production priorities. Support QA inspectors in meeting production and inspection deadlines. Perform product callbacks and rework activities according to established procedures. Update quality status and inspection records in PLEX. Conduct in-process quality checks in accordance with control plans and work instructions. Record and maintain inspection data and quality documentation. Report quality abnormalities, reject trends, and process concerns to Quality leadership. Provide training, guidance, and support to production supervisors and team leads. Maintain 4S standards and participate in Kaizen and continuous improvement activities. Assist the Quality Supervisor as needed and perform inspector duties during absences. Complete required quality evaluations and perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required. Prior quality assurance, inspection, manufacturing, or team lead experience preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis/reporting tools. Ability to maintain accurate records and work within quality management systems such as PLEX. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across departments. Reliable attendance and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills. Ability to handle stressful situations professionally and maintain a positive attitude. Commitment to continuous improvement, teamwork, and company goals.
