Position Type Full Time Position Classification On-Site Job Function Quality Job Summary- General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (GD-OTS), a premier provider to the US Department of Defense and allied nations, is seeking a Quality Inspector for our 2nd shift (3:30pm-2:00am) schedule at our Springboro, OH Facility. Responsibilities- Quality inspector is responsbile for in process inspection for our manufacturing processes. Must be self-motivated, self-directed and possess leadership qualities
Must have a good attendance record
Previous Quality inspection a must (experience in a manufacturing environment as plus)
Highly knowledgeable in the use of various types of gages, micrometers, calipers, etc
Has intermediate or advanced knowledge of quality control procedures
Has intermediate or advanced understanding of containment and quarantine procedures and NCM procedures
Monitor production operations to ensure they meet documented standards
Must be able to utilize basic math skills
Must be able to communicate with operations, management and DCMA
Ensure all EHS compliance is met
Must be able to use computer and email for data entry
Must be able to communicate with management and other personnel Qualifications- High School diploma/GED required. Quality experience in a manufacturing environment a plus.
