Quality Technician is needed who will be responsible for executing the Quality Assurance functions of the division, policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance to theISO 9001
2015 standard, customer specifications, and customer satisfaction. In addition, you will promote positive relations with the production staff to enhance the Quality culture and awareness. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 5 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; however, overtime and weekends may be required.Job Responsibilities:
Audit and prepare In-Process and Final Audit Report based on customer prints Understand the nonconforming material control, control of QMS documents, internal audit, and corrective and preventive action procedures Maintenance of the MRB areas including the initiation of disposition of materials within the material review board process Good understanding of theISO 9001
requirements, related QMS processes, and 1st Piece Approval Process Thorough knowledge of Nonconforming Material Reporting form, work instruction, and Corrective and Preventive Actions Reports Generate PPAP, ISIR and FAI layouts, and other workbook documents, as well as, assist production with print interpretation and gauging when needed Operate CMM, Faro Arm, Virtek, or any other Quality Instruments Perform floor inspection, shipping and receiving, source and final inspections with maintenance of records and logs, and internal audits Participate in determining root cause of defects and assists in the Corrective and Preventive Action Process Proceed after the first piece approval or rework process using the Identification and Traceability tag process Complete responsibility for customer satisfaction through their quality of work using a specified sampling plan Take responsibility for their own safety and the safety of all employees by adhering to all safety policies, procedures, reporting all safety concerns to management, utilize the forklift operator safety plan, emergency action plan, and accident reporting Know what the Company Quality Policy and Quality Objectives mean to them and their role associated with the achievement of these objectives. Acknowledges the Quality Policy Manual Perform other duties as neededJOB REQUIREMENTS
Job Qualifications:
Must have a High School Degree or equivalent combination of experience and education Must have 1 year Quality Assurance experience Must have strong knowledge of manufacturing processes to include assembly, stamping, laser, CNC punch, press brake and welding or similar manufacturing environment Faro Arm or Romer Arm experience is preferred Must be proficient in blueprint reading, interpretation, GD&T, and CAD Software Comprehensive knowledge of inspection gages, micrometers, calipers, protractors, height gage, tape rules, and strong math skills is a must Must have the ability to read and understand work instructions, procedures, respond to common inquiries, and generate concise graphs and reports for presentations Must be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and present findings to management Must have an eye for detail and the ability to meet deadlines Must have excellent communication and organizational skills Must be able to occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds Only those candidates that can pass a background check and drug screen will be considered.
