Quality Technician/Quality Inspector About the Position Unitek is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our growing operations team in Warren, Ohio. The Quality Technician/Quality Inspector is responsible for inspecting products including automotive wire harness, verifying compliance with engineering specifications and build instructions, supporting testing activities, and ensuring all required quality documentation is complete and accurate. This position works closely with Engineering, build technicians, and customers to maintain product quality and support continuous improvement efforts Key Responsibilities Inspect products according to engineering drawings, build instructions, specifications, and quality standards. Perform required inspections and testing and document results accurately. Must be able to measure & inspect Wire Harness and component assemblies. Ensure all work orders and requests contain the required testing and inspection paperwork before release. Verify the completeness and accuracy of quality records and documentation. Communicate with Engineering regarding quality requirements, testing criteria, and product concerns. Assist in resolving quality issues by identifying defects, troubleshooting problems, and recommending corrective actions. Investigate customer complaints and respond to customer quality inquiries in a timely manner. Participate in root cause investigations and continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain compliance with company quality and safety procedures. Qualifications Must have automotive component quality inspection experience. Aptitude for machines, electronics, and related technologies. Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and build prints. Strong computer skills, including experience with data entry and Microsoft Office applications. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve quality-related issues. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Good organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively with Engineering, build technicians, and customers. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a manufacturing, electronics, quality assurance, or testing environment. Familiarity with quality systems, inspection procedures, and root cause analysis techniques.

Long-Term Shift:
1st Shift, Monday-Friday (7:00 AM - 4:00 PM)
Pay:
$18.00 - $21.00 per hour, based on experience and education
Overtime:
Paid at 1.5x after 40 hours; double time as applicable Pre-Employment Requirements Successful completion of a background check. Successful completion of a drug screening.
