Job Description
Quality Control Inspector Willoughby, OH $18-22/hour Full-Time Join Our Team as a Quality Control Inspector! We're looking for a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our team in a positive, collaborative work environment that values teamwork and appreciates every employee. In this role, you'll perform visual and dimensional inspections on green and final core products, ensuring they meet customer specifications and quality standards. What You'll Do Perform visual and dimensional inspection on green cores and final cores per departmental procedures and customer specifications Use inspection tools and equipment, including stationary, laser, and transducer gages, checking blocks, hand-held inspection tools, comparator, X-Ray, and OASIS inspection computer Meet production goals and quality requirements during the inspection process Assist in calibrating company inspection tools Maintain required documentation and records, including customer shipping documents (certifications, dimensional data, SDAR/deviation, etc.) Help maintain the Quality filing and recordkeeping system Communicate effectively with managers, leads, other personnel, and outside customers during source inspections Maintain a clean and organized workstation Complete end-of-shift duties, including production reporting, TPM, and 6S activities Follow all company safety rules and regulations What You Bring High school diploma or GED Knowledge of precision measuring instruments, tools, and equipment (calipers, micrometers, gages, comparators, etc.) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Good verbal and written communication skills Excellent attendance and dependability Willingness to cross-train in other company job functions Physical Requirements Ability to remain seated approximately 80% of the time Close visual acuity for tasks such as reading, visual inspection of small parts/defects, and using measuring devices Comfort working in a manufacturing environment Apply online or call our virtual assistant to schedule an interview 440.276.4211
