Job Description
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Position to leverage growth for YOU! Press Brake Operation Parts Cleaning Shear Operation Plasma cutting Metal Fabrication Basic computer navigation, to access part library Willing to cross train to other machines Read blueprints to determine customer specifications- Gather metal parts on cart/push to work area
- Lift parts off cart and onto equipment - waist level
- Manually turn materials (up to 200#)
- May use 2 employees for larger parts
- Max. push/pull req. to change settings/material
- Could be foot pedal operation while lifting pieces (avg piece=37#)
- Could be up and down steps (17" and 26" from ground) frequently
- Hand controls at chest level, steering wheel (repetitive grasping) Frequent neck twisting/turning while operating
- Sweep work area with push broom
- Replace tools
- use air nozzle to spray off work surfaces Operation of tow motor
