The Level II PCI Quality Control Technician is responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of precast/prestressed concrete products in accordance with PCI standards and company procedures. This role combines hands-on quality control responsibilities with a structured 12-month training program designed to develop future leadership within the organization. During the training period, the technician will perform and oversee daily quality control activities, including testing, inspection, and documentation, while gaining progressive exposure to supervisory and management functions. The individual will also support and coordinate the training and development of Quality Control Technicians, ensuring adherence to best practices, safety standards, and PCI certification requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform quality control inspections on precast/prestressed concrete products Conduct and document testing in accordance with PCI and ASTM standards Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with specifications Identify and report non-conforming materials or processes Maintain accurate inspection and testing records Communicate quality issues and corrective actions to supervisors and production staff Assist with audits and continuous improvement initiatives Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies Provide bilingual communication support between English- and Spanish-speaking team members
Pay:
$20.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
