Night Shift Premium ) Position Overview Reporting to the Manager of Quality , the Quality Technician will be responsible for conducting sampling, destructive testing, product marking, and documentation to ensure our high-quality standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and eager to contribute to a positive and efficient work environment. Key Responsibilities Perform visual inspection of raw materials and finished products. Conduct chemical analysis and mechanical testing of manufactured pipes. Assist with non-destructive testing (NDT) methods, including hydrotesting, eddy current (ET), and ultrasonic testing (UT). Apply markings to finished products to ensure traceability. Assist in the installation and setup of new testing equipment . Support the development of product testing procedures . Promote a safe and positive workplace .

What We're Looking For Education & Qualifications:

✔ High school diploma (Grade 12) or equivalent ✔ Diploma in Metallurgical, Materials, Chemical, Mechanical, or Quality Engineering Technology (or equivalent experience)

Preferred Experience:

✔ Experience in a chemical or mechanical testing laboratory ✔ Knowledge of carbon steels and pipe inspection ✔ Familiarity with quality assurance (QA) documentation ✔ ✔ Strong attention to detail , work ethic, and ability to plan and organize effectively ✔ Excellent communication skills and a commitment to safety
