Job Overview We are seeking a highly meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet strict quality standards and regulatory requirements through comprehensive inspection and testing procedures. Your expertise will support the production process by identifying deviations, verifying measurements, and maintaining compliance with industry standards such as
ISO 13485, ISO
9001, GMP, and FDA regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, mechanical knowledge, and proficiency with precision measurement tools to uphold the integrity of our quality management system. Duties Conduct dimensional and visual inspections using precision measuring instruments such as height gauges, micrometers, calipers, and coordinate measuring machines to verify product conformity. Perform quality audits throughout the manufacturing process to ensure adherence to ISO standards, GMP, HACCP, and other regulatory/legal compliance standards. Interpret mechanical blueprints and manufacturing documentation accurately to assess product specifications and tolerances. Utilize vision inspection systems and other advanced measurement tools to identify defects or deviations in production. Collect data systematically during inspections, analyze results, and prepare detailed reports for quality management review. Support calibration activities for measuring instruments to maintain measurement accuracy. Participate in root cause analysis for quality issues and collaborate with production teams to implement corrective actions. Assist in maintaining compliance documentation related to FDA regulations, ISO 13485, ISO 9001, and other applicable standards. Conduct internal quality audits to verify ongoing adherence to established quality systems. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by providing insights based on inspection findings. Qualifications Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance within a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of calibration procedures and the use of precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, height gauges, calipers, and coordinate measuring machines. Familiarity with industry standards including
ISO 13485
(medical devices), ISO 9001 (quality management), GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), and FDA regulations. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturing documents. Proficiency in using vision inspection systems and understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing). Basic math skills for measurement calculations and data analysis. Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills for defect identification and root cause analysis. Ability to interpret complex technical information accurately while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. Effective communication skills for reporting findings clearly and collaborating across teams.
