Job Description
Position Summary PrideStaff is seeking an active, detail-oriented Quality Control Technician for a premier food and beverage manufacturing facility in Bend. Be apart of a growing, local team! Support the quality team directly on a fast-paced production floor. Monitor, document, and verify procedures to ensure high food safety and product standards. Audit operations to ensure compliance with regulatory standards (HACCP, SSOP, SOP, GMP). Utilize production ERP systems to track inventory hold/quarantine statuses. Key Responsibilities Complete daily production area QC checks, verifying logs, batch records, and manufacturing procedures. Monitor and audit plant operations for compliance with HACCP, SSOP, SOP, GMP, SQF, Kosher, and Organic standards. Utilize production ERP software to isolate, inventory, and track quarantined or held raw materials and finished goods. Assist the Quality Manager in reviewing, updating, and establishing quality control procedures and specifications. Collect data to assist in addressing consumer quality concerns and continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications & Requirements High school diploma or GED required; degree in Food Science/Safety or 6+ months of food manufacturing experience required. Strong knowledge of food safety, HACCP, SSOPs, and GMPs (certifications preferred). Proficient with computers, including spreadsheets, word processing, and production ERP software. Excellent troubleshooting, organizational, multi-tasking, and attention-to-detail skills. Ability to stand and walk on active production floors for 8-12 hours daily and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
