$19.50/hour

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, approximately 4:00 PM-2:00 AM End time may vary based on production; occasional weekend work may be required. Pettit Staffing is seeking Quality Assurance Technicians for a food manufacturing facility. This is a great opportunity for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, comfortable working in a production environment, and interested in learning quality assurance in the food industry.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform routine quality checks on food products and production lines
• Check and record product temperatures, weights, labels, packaging, and other specifications
• Monitor sanitation and food-safety requirements
• Enter basic information into a computer and complete QA documentation
• Identify and report quality or food-safety concerns to supervisors
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), HACCP procedures, and company safety standards
• Maintain regular and dependable attendance

Qualifications:

• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions
• Basic math and computer skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Dependable and comfortable working a swing-shift schedule
• Previous food production or quality experience is helpful, but not required
