Job Description
Discover a Day in the Role Based in Hillsboro, OR, you will be the guardian of product quality from the moment materials arrive to the final sign-off. Your day flows from inspecting incoming materials, to checking in-process components on the floor, to validating finished products before they ship. You will capture precise measurements, document your findings, and partner closely with production and engineering to keep quality at the forefront. How You Make an Impact Inspect incoming materials, in-process components, and final products to confirm they meet internal and customer quality standards. Record inspection outcomes and maintain complete, accurate documentation of quality control activities. Flag defects and nonconformities, collaborate with production to drive corrective actions, and verify effectiveness. Perform routine process audits to ensure procedures and quality protocols are consistently followed. Collaborate with engineering and production to refine and enhance quality procedures and checklists. Support onboarding by coaching new team members in quality practices and standards. Keep pace with industry developments and best practices in quality assurance. What You Bring High school diploma or equivalent; further education in quality or related disciplines is a plus. Hands-on experience as a Quality Control/Quality Assurance Inspector (or similar). Working knowledge of quality systems, inspection methods, and process control. Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Clear written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with measurement tools and test equipment. Comfort working both independently and within teams in a fast-paced environment.
