Create and submit AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports, including drawing ballooning and characteristic accountability Coordinate and present parts to customer and government source inspectors at buyoff Document inspection results accurately and completely Work directly with machinists and programmers to catch issues upstream and support a right-first-time culture Maintain inspection tool control and gage calibration status Requirements 4+ years of precision inspection experience in a CNC or machine shop environment Strong command of dimensional inspection techniques and GD&T Proficient with hand tools and optical comparators Accurate, thorough documentation habits Reliable and self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision Preferred Operating CMMs (ZEISS Calypso or similar) Direct experience creating AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports Experience in an AS9100 or
ISO 9001
quality system Aerospace or defense machining background
