Full Job Description Job Opportunity:

Quality Inspector A client of ours in Tigard is looking to add a Quality Inspector to their team. This position will be responsible for inspecting products during production and before shipment to make sure they meet quality standards and customer specifications.

Responsibilities:

Perform in-process and final inspections of manufactured products. Use precision measurement tools including micrometers, calipers, height gauges, optical comparators, thread gauges, and profilometers. Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements. Identify quality issues and help determine solutions to problems. Complete inspection tasks with minimal supervision while managing priorities and deadlines. Support quality processes including RMA, NCMR, and FAI documentation. Accurately document inspection results and identify defects or errors. Work closely with production and quality teams to ensure products meet customer requirements.

Requirements:

Previous quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience using precision measurement tools. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Knowledge of GD&T preferred. High school diploma or equivalent. Strong math, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Ability to regularly lift up to 25 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 35 lbs.
