As a small business defense contractor, Action Manufacturing Company was established in 1946 to service DOD requirements for ordnance products. Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector to join our team, specializing in the operation and programming of CMM (Mitutoyo) and Keyence machines. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in various quality control tasks and possess a strong understanding of mechanical measurements and aerospace standards. To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: CMM (Mitutoyo) programming and operation using COSMOS for part acceptance Keyence programming and operation Proficient in measurement tool usage (micrometer, caliper, comparator, height gauge, etc.) Understanding of mechanical drawing, dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T) Calibration of inspection equipment Maintain related formalized records of inspections and remedial action, as applicable. Inspect/ Audit a Variety of Products using all variable or attribute measuring equipment and record results to ensure conformance with aerospace customer regulations Responsible for First Part Buy Off, Receiving, In Process, First and Final Article inspections Perform Receiving, In-process, and Final inspection including Shipping.

Job Requirements:
Must be able to understand and perform job functions as stated in the job description. Normal range of motion and good manual dexterity are necessary for this job. Accuracy in performing job is required. Errors in identifying non-conforming operations may cause defective parts and break down of equipment.
Education Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent desired, but not necessary.
