Job Description

Visual Inspection Systems is seeking an experienced or entry-level industrial inspection technician to join our team in Butler, PA! This position is focused on preventative maintenance and involves performing infrared inspections in industrial environments to identify overheating components, electrical issues, mechanical defects, and other developing equipment problems before they lead to failure. We are looking for employees interested in working our afternoon (2pm-10pm) and night (10pm-6am) shifts. This role is ideal for a candidate who is willing to work double shifts and work on a flexible schedule (i.e. 3 days on, 4 days off). This role requires a full background check and drug screen. Responsibilities:
Perform infrared inspections on electrical and mechanical equipment. Document findings clearly and accurately using Microsoft Office and inspection reporting tools. Work independently and follow established safety procedures.
Requirements:
1-2 years mechanical or industrial experience Willingness to work in industrial environments. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office. Ability to work independently. Reliable and punctual in attendance. Experience in manufacturing, steel processing, machining, electric motors, or bearings is a plus. Infrared certification, such as Level I, is a plus. Vibration, Ultrasound, Alignment, or NDT certifications are a plus. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work.
