Job Description

Small business looking for a candidate for an inspector position.
Position:
QA Technician Department:
Quality Accountable to:
Director of Quality Job Summary:
The QA Tech will assist in maintaining quality processes, conducting inspections and audits, documenting non-conformities, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in maintaining and improving the ISO 9001-compliant Quality Management System (QMS). Perform in-process, final, and incoming inspections of materials, components, and finished products. Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and company-specific procedures (when requested and trained) Support the development, review, and maintenance of quality documentation (e.g., SOPs, work instructions, quality manuals). Investigate and document non-conformances (NCRs), support root cause analysis, and follow up on corrective/preventive actions (CAPAs). Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, audits, and quality-related data. Work closely with production, engineering, and other departments to ensure quality objectives are met. Support customer audits and third-party ISO audits as needed. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma projects when requested).
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree, technical certification or previous experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a production environment.
PPE required:
Provided (gloves, hearing and eye protection, etc. when needed in work area)
Employee Responsibilities:
Safety Toe Shoes / Boots Position will be first shift.

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
