Job Description

This job posting describes a Quality Technician role focused on quality assurance, inspections, problem-solving, compliance, and continuous improvement within a manufacturing or production environment. Will start on second shift to start with training a few weeks with day shift 4am-4:30pm then once we are fully staffed on second the shift would be 7am-7 PM for a few months then eventually go to 2:30pm-12am. Key Responsibilities Interpret product drawings and specifications for inspections. Use precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment. Support inspections across receiving, panel line, trim, and final production processes. Prepare production and quality worksheets. Participate in the Material Review Board (MRB) process. Investigate defects and recommend corrective and preventive actions. Support complaint investigations and risk management activities. Analyze quality data to identify trends and improvement opportunities. Maintain and administer the calibration program. Support continuous improvement initiatives. Manage non-conformance documentation and processes. Assist Operations and perform other assigned duties. Required Skills Strong understanding of product drawings and inspection methods. Experience with precision measurement equipment. Excellent organization and recordkeeping skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to multitask in a manufacturing environment. Problem-solving and analytical abilities. High level of confidentiality and professionalism. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally. Education & Experience Minimum High School Diploma. Preferred Associate degree plus at least 2 years of relevant experience. Bachelor's degree. Preferred Certifications Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt. Certified Quality Technician (CQT). Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA) or similar quality certification. Preferred Knowledge Quality Management Systems and standards:
ISO 9001 ISO 14001 ISO 45001 ISO 37301
Familiarity with FM and UL requirements/certifications.
Pay:
$25.55 - $27.11 per hour Expected hours: 60.0 per week
