Job Description

Valley Green, PA Amphenol High Speed Products Group is the market leader for high speed, high bandwidth electrical connectors for the Telecom/Datacom market (Mobile Networks, Storage, Servers, Routers, Switches, etc.). Our products help to enable the electronics revolution and remain a key enabler for all the major Tier 1 OEM's globally. Our global headquarters are located in Nashua, NH and we have design, sales and manufacturing locations globally. Our team in Valley Green, PA is looking for a Quality Specialist.POSITION SUMMARY
The Quality Specialist supports the implementation and maintenance of quality systems to ensure compliance with customer requirements, industry standards, and internal procedures. This entry-level role focuses on inspection, documentation, and assisting in root cause analysis for electronic components and assemblies.RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of electronic components, cable assemblies, and PCBs using magnification tools and measurement equipment. Verify compliance with work instructions, drawings, and specifications . Document inspection results in ERP or quality management systems. Assist in nonconformance reporting (NCR) and containment activities. Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for defects (e.g., soldering, gasket placement, wire routing). Conduct basic electrical tests (continuity, hipot, LLCR) under supervision. Maintain calibration records for measurement tools. Participate in layered process audits and report findings. Ensure adherence to ESD, cleanliness, and safety standards in the work area.QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or associate degree in electronics or related field. Basic understanding of IPC/WHMA-A-620 or similar standards. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions . Familiarity with measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, go/no-go gauges). Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy. Basic computer skills (MS Office, ERP systems). Good communication and teamwork skills.Preferred Skills:
Experience in electronics manufacturing or cable assembly . Knowledge of quality tools (PFMEA, control plans, fishbone diagrams). Exposure to ISO 9001 orIATF 16949
