Job Description

JF Burns Machine is known for exceptional quality and on time delivery to our customers and we are looking to add a high quality QC Inspector to our team. You will be responsible for performing in-process and final inspection of all components that we manufacture here at our facility. You will stand as an advocate to uphold the high quality parts that our customers expect and ensure that we have zero escaping defects. Previous inspection/ machining experience is desired as well as the ability to interpret customer drawings and requirements. The ability to use all types of inspection equipment is a must, (I.e. micrometers, calipers, thread gages, height gage, indicators, CMM, hardness tester, ect.). Additional knowledge of GD&T is a plus but not required. Responsibilities
  • Read and understand customer drawings to comprehend the quality expectations for the product
  • Perform first piece, in-process, and final inspection of parts that we manufacture to ensure all quality expectations are being met
  • You will be expected to have a good understanding of how to inspect the components and to have the ability to choose the right tool/ process when performing the inspections. Skills
  • Proven experience as a quality inspector or relevant machining role
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a results-driven approach
  • Responsible and trustworthy
  • Familiarity with the types of quality inspection equipment that we use
  • Thorough knowledge of quality control standards
  • Computer literate and working knowledge of Microsoft office
  • High School Degree, further qualifications will be a plus Pay $25-$30+ based on ability and experience + overtime available. long-term success.
