• 85k + Benefits Growing local artisan cafe group seeking an experienced Artisan Bakery Production Manager to lead high-volume bread and pastry production at our central commissary in King of Prussia, PA .

The Role:

The Artisan Bakery Production Manager in King of Prussia will own day-to-day operations of our commissary bakery supplying multiple cafes. Reporting to the Bakery Director, you will ensure quality, consistency, and efficiency across all shifts.

Responsibilities:

Lead all artisan bread production

• fermentation, mixing, shaping, proofing, baking Troubleshoot dough, oven scheduling, yield, and ingredient issues Recruit, train, schedule, and manage bakers and shift leads Create and maintain SOPs, production planning, inventory, and ordering systems Track KPIs
• yield, waste, labor, output
• and ensure food safety compliance

Requirements:

8-10+ years artisan bread production in a commercial bakery/commissary 3+ years leading bakery teams Experience supplying multiple locations from central production Strong systems and operational mindset, HACCP/ServSafe preferred Able to work in a fast-paced, hands-on bakery environment
