Job Description
Quality Inspector Position Summary The Quality Inspector ensures that products, materials, and processes meet company quality standards. This role is responsible for inspecting items, identifying defects, and maintaining quality control processes. This is a temporary to permanent position. Key Responsibilities
- Inspect products and materials to ensure they meet quality standards
- Identify defects or issues and report findings
- Document inspection results and maintain quality records
- Follow established quality control procedures and guidelines
- Work with teams to resolve quality issues
- Support continuous improvement of quality processes Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Relevant experience in quality control or inspection o One year of inspection experience preferred
- Strong mathematical skills, including decimals, fractions, and basic geometry knowledge.
- Basic understanding of quality standards and inspection processes
- Basic competency in Math skills / calculations of decimals and fractions
- Computer skills sufficient to complete inspection reports and quality records.
- Experience with blueprint reading, inspection tools, or equipment preferred
- Ability to pass a Jeager and Ishihara vision test Skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Good problem-solving skills
- Ability to follow procedures and guidelines
- Basic communication skills
