Job Description

Responsibilities What you can expect: Meaningful, fast-paced work with the region's largest heavy civil construction and materials company On-the-job training led by talented, passionate members of the Allan Myers team Exposure to a large heavy civil construction project Buddy assignment Social networking events Classroom training to develop professional skills Each assignment is typically 3-6 months Typical Duties Assisting with daily asphalt plant operations and production activities Monitoring asphalt production schedules and plant performance Supporting quality control testing and material sampling procedures Tracking inventory levels of aggregates, liquid asphalt, and other raw materials Assisting with production reporting, data collection, and operational analysis Coordinating deliveries and logistics for incoming materials and outgoing product Observing and supporting plant maintenance and equipment inspections Reviewing production records, safety procedures, and environmental compliance requirements Assisting with troubleshooting operational issues and identifying process improvements Supporting plant supervisors and engineers with special projects and continuous improvement initiatives
