Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania job type: Contract work hours: 3 to 11 education: High School responsibilities: Analyze finished products using diverse test methods, including wet chemistry techniques. Perform sensory evaluations on both in-process and finished food products. Review critical food safety, regulatory, and quality test results prior to shipment release. Assist with microbiological sampling, sample preparation, and laboratory testing. Conduct physical sampling and testing on incoming ingredients from trucks, rail cars, and totes. Maintain rigorous sanitation levels across all QA laboratory spaces.
qualifications:
Required:
High School Diploma or GED. Must provide own steel-toe boots (all other required PPE provided onsite).
Preferred:
1+ years of experience in quality control, food manufacturing, laboratory environments, or related fields. #LI-HK1 skills:
