Job Description
Adecco is assisting a local client recruiting for Assistant Quality Technician opportunities in Mechanicsburg
PA 17050.

Responsibilities for Assistant Quality Technician include but are not limited to:- Assist with the analysis and testing of finished products using a variety of testing methods, including wet chemistry techniques.
- Perform sensory evaluations on in-process and finished products.
- Review food safety, regulatory, and quality testing results prior to the release of finished goods for shipment.
- Assist with microbiological sampling, sample preparation, and testing as required.
- Maintain high sanitation and cleanliness standards within the Quality Assurance laboratory.
- Support the sampling and testing of incoming ingredients, including physical testing of materials received in rail cars, trucks, bins, sacks, and totes.
- Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, and Product Safety teams to support quality and food safety initiatives.
- Participate in cross-training opportunities to develop knowledge and skills across various Quality Assurance functions. Candidates for Assistant Quality Technician must meet the following requirements to be considered:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in quality assurance, food manufacturing, laboratory operations, or a related environment preferred.
- Basic understanding of quality testing methods and laboratory procedures.
- Ability to perform sensory evaluations and collect accurate testing data.
- Knowledge of food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain laboratory cleanliness and follow sanitation procedures.
- Must provide and wear steel-toe footwear as required PPE. What's in this Assistant Quality Technician position for you?
Pay:
$ 21.36/hr- $ 21.36/hr on W2
Shift:
2nd shift: Sat & Sun 12pm- 12am, Mon & Tues 4pm-12am (this position will end 4/24/27) 3rd shift: Sat & Sun 12am
- 12pm, Thur & Fri 12am
- 8am (this position will end 12/26/26)

Pay Details:
