The Opportunity Join Hitachi Energy as a Manufacturing Quality Assurance Professional and help ensure the delivery of high-quality products that support critical energy infrastructure around the world. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining quality excellence across manufacturing operations by supporting inspection activities, monitoring production processes, and helping drive continuous improvement initiatives. Working closely with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams, you will contribute to the development and execution of quality assurance practices that ensure products meet customer expectations and industry standards. Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines. How You'll Make an Impact Support the development and implementation of quality assurance strategies, programs, and improvement initiatives. Apply established quality standards and specifications to manufacturing and assembly processes. Monitor and track in-process inspection activities to help ensure consistent product quality. Maintain quality documentation and records in accordance with approved drawings, procedures, and processes. Assist with internal quality audits and support compliance activities across manufacturing operations. Support the management of non-conforming materials through quality notifications, NCRs, and MRB processes. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to address quality concerns and customer-specific requirements. Promote quality awareness by supporting training initiatives and continuous improvement efforts. Your Background Associate degree in Business Operations, Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality control, quality assurance, manufacturing, or operations. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manufacturing documentation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions. Demonstrated ability to identify, prioritize, and resolve quality-related issues in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
