Full-Time Position Summary Prion Manufacturing is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Inspector to join our team. The Quality Inspector will be responsible for ensuring that machined parts and assemblies meet customer specifications, engineering drawings, and company quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience using precision measuring instruments, reading blueprints, and performing first article, in-process, and final inspections. Key Responsibilities Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of machined components and assemblies. Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, GD&T symbols, and customer specifications. Use precision measuring equipment, including Calipers, Micrometers, Height gauges, Bore gauges, Thread gauges and Surface plate inspection equipment. Complete First Article Inspection (FAI) reports and inspection documentation. Identify and document non-conforming materials and products. Work closely with machinists, programmers, and production personnel to resolve quality issues. Maintain accurate inspection records and quality reports. Assist in root cause analysis and corrective action activities. Verify calibration status of inspection equipment. Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with quality management systems. Qualifications Required High school diploma or GED. Minimum of 3 years of quality inspection experience in a machining environment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings. Strong understanding of precision measuring tools and inspection techniques. Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T). Basic computer skills and experience with quality documentation. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Preferred Familiarity with

ISO 9001

Knowledge of SPC (Statistical Process Control). Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
