Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Quality Inspector and play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of manufacturing excellence! In this energetic position, you will be the frontline guardian of quality, meticulously inspecting products and components to meet rigorous industry standards. Your keen eye for detail and mechanical expertise will help uphold our commitment to delivering safe, reliable, and top-quality products. Responsibilities Conduct detailed inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products using precision measuring instruments such as height gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and vision inspection systems. Interpret mechanical blueprints, manufacturing documents, and technical specifications to verify dimensional accuracy and compliance with quality standards. Perform quality audits across production lines to identify deviations from
ISO 9001, ISO 13485, GMP
(Good Manufacturing Practice), and FDA regulations. Utilize GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) principles to assess tolerances and ensure dimensional measurements meet specifications. Maintain accurate data collection records for quality assurance purposes, including inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and calibration logs. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to address quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions aligned with regulatory/legal compliance standards. Support calibration and maintenance of measuring instruments and vision systems to ensure ongoing measurement accuracy. Experience Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance within a manufacturing environment, preferably in medical devices or similar regulated industries. Strong knowledge of ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 13485), GMP, HACCP, and FDA regulations related to manufacturing processes. Hands-on experience with calibration and use of precision measurement tools such as height gauges, dial indicators, calipers, and coordinate measuring machines. Familiarity with quality systems including QA/QC procedures, internal audits, and data analysis techniques. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and production documents accurately. Excellent analytical skills combined with attention to detail for performing dimensional measurements and visual inspections using vision inspection systems. Pay:
$24.85 - $29.93 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
