Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring for a leading biopharmaceutical organization focused on vaccines and innovative healthcare products in Swiftwater, PA.

Quality Control Microbiology Analyst Location:
Swiftwater, PA —
Onsite Pay:
Up to $ 27.60/hour
Duration:
1-year contract with potential Temp-to-Hire This position supports routine testing within a regulated Quality Control Microbiology laboratory, ensuring work is performed in accordance with site procedures, federal regulations, cGMP requirements, and established quality standards. The individual will support production activities, method validation, and stability programs while maintaining accurate and complete documentation. Responsibilities Perform routine microbiological testing according to established schedules, procedures, and applicable cGMP requirements. Apply fundamental microbiological techniques, including aseptic processing and culturing of bacterial and viral isolates. Support Quality Control testing associated with production, method validation, and stability programs. Perform testing activities such as sterility and bioburden testing, as applicable. Conduct visual evaluations of vials, syringes, plates, bottles, canisters, and other laboratory materials. Demonstrate a working understanding of microbiological processes, assays, equipment, and applicable laboratory practices. Identify and communicate potential issues, trends, or testing abnormalities. Develop working knowledge of applicable compendia, regulatory guidance, and quality requirements. Set up, operate, and break down laboratory equipment as required. Maintain laboratory cleanliness, safety, and compliance, including cleaning equipment and ancillary areas. Complete laboratory documentation accurately and in a timely manner. Follow appropriate laboratory waste-disposal procedures. Participate in team, department, and safety meetings. Work collaboratively in a team-oriented, highly regulated laboratory environment. Perform additional Quality Control and laboratory activities as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology, Biological Sciences, or a closely related field . 1-2 years of relevant laboratory experience ; prior Quality Control experience is preferred. Knowledge of microbiological laboratory techniques. Experience with tissue culture, sterility testing, bioburden testing, or related QC microbiology activities is highly preferred. Familiarity with cGMP guidelines and regulated laboratory environments. Working knowledge of applicable microbiology compendia and regulatory guidance. Strong written documentation skills and exceptional attention to detail. Ability to identify and communicate laboratory issues or trends. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Additional Requirements Must successfully complete a required eye examination . Must meet applicable vaccination requirements associated with the position and work environment. Must be comfortable working onsite in a highly regulated laboratory setting. Why Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences? Pay Details:
