Supplier Quality Inspector Upper Chichester, PA 1 DAYS AGO 22836006 Summary Upper Chichester, PA In-Person Competitive Salary 6 Months Experience Post-secondary academic degree, Associate degree No Commission 40.00 hours per week / Day Shift / Full-Time Description Join the New Hudson Facades Team New Hudson Facades is seeking a detail-oriented Supplier Quality Inspector to help ensure the quality of materials and components supplied to our manufacturing operations. In this role, you'll work closely with suppliers and internal teams to inspect products, support supplier qualification activities, and help drive continuous improvement throughout our supply chain. If you enjoy hands-on inspection work, problem-solving, travel, and collaborating with manufacturing and engineering teams, we'd love to hear from you. What You'll Do As a Supplier Quality Inspector, you will: Support supplier visits, quality audits, and supplier qualification activities. Perform First Article Inspections for new suppliers, engineering changes, and product launches. Inspect and approve gasket profiles, extrusion dies, paint finishes, and other critical purchased components. Verify dimensions, material characteristics, and product conformance using inspection and measurement equipment. Prepare inspection reports, supplier visit documentation, and approval records. Assist with Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs) by documenting issues, tracking responses, and verifying corrective actions. Participate in root cause investigations and continuous improvement initiatives related to supplier quality. Monitor supplier quality performance and communicate trends or recurring concerns. Partner with Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to resolve supplier-related issues. Support supplier process changes, product requalification efforts, and manufacturing approvals. Travel to supplier facilities to perform inspections, audits, and supplier development activities. Provide quality inspection support within the manufacturing facility as needed. What We're Looking For Preferred Qualifications Associate degree in Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering Technology, Construction, or a related field. Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, construction, curtainwall, or quality inspection. Experience reading engineering drawings and using precision measurement equipment. ASQ Auditing Certification is a plus. Valid U.S. driver's license required; passport preferred. Knowledge & Skills Understanding of quality management systems such as
ISO 9001.
Familiarity with manufacturing processes and quality inspection principles. Ability to use inspection tools including calipers, micrometers, gloss meters, film thickness gauges, and tape measures. Basic understanding of root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies. Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills. High attention to detail and commitment to quality. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to perform repetitive lifting and other physically demanding tasks. Ability to travel domestically up to 75-80% of the time. Why Join New Hudson Facades?
