Shift:

Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm with voluntary overtime Job Description Duties and Key Responsibilities include, but not limited to

•Complete Inspections of Materials and file quality records including receiving files and non-conforming material reports. Maintain the receiving area in a neat and orderly manner. Ability to check and unload incoming shipments. Inspect the received goods to ensure their quality. Ability to work with other departments if a problem or discrepancy is found and keeping careful records. Count, weigh or measure items of incoming shipments to verify information against invoices, orders, bills of lading or other records. Read and understand drawings and specifications is not required, but a plus. Route items to various departments Examine and unpack incoming shipments; record shortages and reject damaged items Examine incoming shipments to ensure they meet specifications and Identify Non-Conforming materials/Bad Materials Check in inbound inventory and administer the processing General knowledge of measuring tools Good mechanical aptitude and close attention to detail Ensure that all documents and material received in the receiving are of satisfactory quality Must possess the ability to perform various testing procedures and simple statistical analysis as related to sampling. Provides supplemental quality support to on-going projects Educational Qualifications Previous Experience High School Diploma or GED required. Technical degree or professional certification preferred At least one year experience performing mechanical inspections in an FDA or ISO regulated environment preferred, but negotiable. Previous quality experience preferred. Professional Skills Key Competencies Duties require basic knowledge of inspection/sampling techniques and familiarity with

ANSI/ASQ Z1.4

Basic familiarity with FDA QSR and/or

ISO 9000/ISO 13485

Quality System Requirements Knowledge of mechanical and physical inspection techniques (calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, etc.) Demonstrated strong attention to detail and "do it right the first time" attitude Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Ability to read and interpret distribution documents and operational procedures / specifications.

Skills Knowledge Basic familiarity with MS Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to utilize a computer to enter data and prepare reports Ability to lift a 30 lb load from the floor Majority of time is spent standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day Ability to be able to work with limited supervision.
