Job Description
Quality Assurance Technician Job Description This role focuses on performing hands-on quality assurance activities in a laboratory environment with regular exposure to a fast-paced manufacturing floor. The Quality Assurance Technician conducts mechanical and visual tests, verifies packaging quality, and documents all findings to support the production of high-quality engineered flexible materials for the healthcare market. This position offers exposure to multiple departments and clear opportunities for professional growth and advancement into leadership roles within a stable, growing global organization. Responsibilities Perform mechanical tests on products and materials to ensure they meet quality and performance standards. Conduct detailed visual inspections, including taking precise measurements with a ruler, to verify product specifications. Carry out color matching activities, using accurate color perception to confirm that products meet defined color standards. Perform leak tests to confirm product integrity and identify any potential failures. Conduct tensile testing to assess material strength and performance under stress. Use a ruler and other basic measuring tools to confirm that packaging print is correctly positioned and aligned. Identify defects in products, packaging, and materials through systematic inspection and testing. Required Skills Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices). Experience in laboratory, quality inspection, production, quality control, or quality assurance environments is a plus. An associates degree at minimum is preferred

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.10 - $23.10/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
