All qualified candidates will be contacted! Job Description This role focuses on ensuring that manufactured products consistently meet rigorous customer and industry quality standards. You will perform inspections, review technical documentation, and support quality systems in a precision manufacturing environment, with opportunities to take on more advanced responsibilities based on your experience level. Responsibilities Perform visual and dimensional inspections on incoming, in-process, and finished parts to verify conformance to specifications. Review drawings, specifications, and technical documents to ensure products meet customer and industry requirements. Prepare, maintain, and organize inspection records and technical data packages in an accurate and timely manner. Support first article inspections (AS9102) and assist with customer documentation requirements. Identify and document nonconforming material, ensuring proper segregation and traceability. Support root cause analysis and corrective action efforts for identified nonconformances. Collaborate closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes. Maintain compliance with AS9100 and ISO quality standards and internal quality procedures. Assist with internal and external audits by providing documentation, records, and process evidence as needed. Contribute to process improvements and continuous quality initiatives to enhance product reliability and consistency. Perform document control activities, including document review, revision tracking, and ensuring use of current documents. Conduct batch record review and document review to confirm completeness, accuracy, and compliance with requirements. Perform data entry related to inspection results, quality records, and quality assurance systems. Support quality audits and inspection activities across the production floor as required. Skills Experience in manufacturing, preferably within CNC machining, aerospace, defense, or precision manufacturing environments. Proven ability to perform visual and dimensional inspections using standard inspection tools and measurement equipment. Strong attention to detail with the ability to interpret and work from technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Familiarity with inspection tools and measurement equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and related instruments. Experience with quality documentation, including inspection records, batch records, and technical data packages. Understanding of AS9100 and ISO quality standards (preferred but not required for entry-level candidates). Experience with document control, document review, and maintaining accurate quality assurance documentation. Ability to perform data entry accurately and efficiently in quality systems or databases. Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Demonstrated commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated precision industries. Hands-on involvement with first article inspections (AS9102) and customer-facing documentation. Experience in quality audits, quality control, and quality assurance practices. Experience supporting root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives. Exposure to structured document control systems and quality management systems. Ability to adapt to evolving quality requirements and contribute ideas for process improvement. Why Work Here? Work Environment This is a full-time, first-shift position, working Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. You will work in a manufacturing and inspection environment that uses precision measurement tools, inspection equipment, and quality documentation systems. The role involves regular interaction with production, engineering, and quality teams on the shop floor and in office settings, with a strong focus on safety, organization, and adherence to established quality procedures. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cinnaminson, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
