Your Role:

Making a Meaningful Difference As an Early Intervention Quality Assurance Specialist , you will help ensure Aprendamos' Early Intervention Program consistently meets New Mexico Family Infant Toddler (FIT) Program Service Definitions and Standards and applicable Annual Performance Report (APR) indicators . You will provide procedural guidance, monitor program quality and compliance, analyze performance data, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. A key focus of this position will be coordinating and monitoring the Early Intervention transition process , supporting Family Service Coordinators (FSCs), and ensuring required transition timelines and indicators are successfully met. Key Responsibilities Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Analyze program trends and identify systemic barriers that may impact service quality, compliance, and program performance. Develop corrective action recommendations and quality improvement plans based on identified trends and findings. Collaborate with Early Intervention leadership to develop and implement continuous quality improvement initiatives. Monitor the effectiveness of quality improvement strategies and recommend adjustments as needed. Data Analysis & Performance Metrics Analyze program performance data related to APR indicators, compliance timelines, service delivery, and documentation quality . Identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement related to Initial IFSPs, Six-Month Reviews, Annual IFSPs, Transition, and CME Reports . Maintain accurate data and tracking systems to support program monitoring and decision-making. Provide leadership with data-informed findings and recommendations to strengthen program performance. Training & Staff Development Provide ongoing training, coaching, and technical assistance to staff regarding NM FIT standards, documentation requirements, compliance expectations, and quality initiatives . Support onboarding and training activities related to Early Intervention quality assurance processes. Serve as a resource to staff regarding quality, documentation, transition, and procedural requirements. Documentation Review & Compliance Conduct documentation reviews to ensure accuracy, completeness, timeliness, compliance, and adherence to NM FIT Service Definitions and Standards and Aprendamos organizational expectations. Monitor the timeliness and quality of IFSP documentation and service coordination records . Maintain timely data collection and monitoring to ensure required transition timelines are met in accordance with applicable transition indicators. Coordinate, monitor, and implement tracking tools that support the Family Service Coordinator team throughout the transition process . Maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and documentation supporting FIT APR indicators . Communicate identified compliance concerns, trends, and opportunities for improvement to Early Intervention leadership. What We Are Looking For (Requirements)

Education:

Minimum of an Associate's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, human services, early childhood education, or a related field from an accredited educational program.

Early Intervention Knowledge:

Knowledge of IDEA Part C regulations and New Mexico FIT requirements preferred.

Quality & Compliance:

Experience with auditing, compliance monitoring, documentation review, or quality improvement initiatives preferred.

Data Skills:

Strong data management, tracking, analytical, and reporting skills.

Technology:

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams , with the ability to learn new software applications and systems.

Communication:

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to provide clear procedural guidance, coaching, and technical assistance.

Organization:

Ability to manage multiple deadlines, maintain detailed records, identify trends, and follow through on quality improvement initiatives. At Aprendamos, quality assurance is more than checking boxes.
