We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Quality Improvement and Incentive Coordinator to join our team.
Work Location Hybrid/Remote:
This position offers hybrid/remote flexibility; however, candidates must reside within traveling distance of one of our NMHSI locations in Shelby, Manistee, Benzonia, or Traverse City, Michigan to support on-site meetings, trainings, and team collaboration as needed. About the Role The Quality Improvement and Incentive Coordinator plays a key role in advancing NMHSI's quality initiatives by supporting care teams, improving workflows, and ensuring the integrity of clinical data within the electronic health record. This position serves as a coach and resource for quality improvement (QI) teams, helping drive performance improvement, optimize processes, and support organizational goals related to patient care and compliance. Key Responsibilities Quality Improvement & Data Support Support and coach QI teams using PDSA and continuous quality improvement (CQI) methodologies Assist in collecting, analyzing, and integrating clinical performance data Implement workflow improvements, including forms, processes, and system integrations Incentive Program Coordination Coordinate and support incentive programs, including reporting and partner communication Monitor HEDIS measures and program requirements Analyze performance data and identify opportunities for improvement Maintain communication with insurance partners and stakeholders Care Team Collaboration Facilitate care team meetings focused on patient outcomes and quality metrics Track and report on UDS and other key performance indicators Conduct root cause analyses and support goal setting and action planning Technology & Systems Support Administer and support platforms such as eClinicalWorks (eCW), Luma, and DocuSign Provide technical support and assist with system improvements and implementations Project & Survey Management Support CQI and PCMH-related projects Develop and distribute surveys aligned with regulatory and organizational needs Analyze survey data and present actionable insights Training & Education Assist with staff training on QI processes and systems Develop workflows, training materials, and educational resourcesQualifications Education & Experience:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Informatics, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or a related field OR equivalent experience (minimum of 4 years) Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a healthcare-related fieldSkills & Abilities:
Experience with project management and quality improvement methodologies (PDSA, CQI) Strong data entry accuracy and organizational skills Proficiency with survey tools and electronic health record (EHR) systems Strong analytical skills, including Excel, Power BI, or similar tools Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independentlyInterpersonal Skills:
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds Customer-focused approach when working with patients, families, and the public Ability to collaborate effectively with administration, providers, and clinical support staffKnowledge:
